The Japan project focuses on five of the country’s most iconic cities: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Nara. This nation has truly captivated me—through its culture, the beauty found in simplicity, and traditions that are still very much alive today.

I chose to capture the journey with an Agfa automatic camera and 35mm film, purely for the pleasure of preserving moments from this remarkable experience. My intention was not to overthink each shot, but rather to enjoy the moment and allow the camera to reflect it—learning to embrace, in its entirety, all that Japan had to offer me
